Sarah M. Lockwood is a law clerk with Killian & Gephart, LLP. Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at Central Pennsylvania College, earning her bachelor's degree in legal studies and an associate's degree in paralegal studies. She attended law school at Widener University Commonwealth Law School, earning her juris doctorate degree and graduating cum laude.
In law school, she received three CALI awards for the highest grade in each class for Evidence, Torts I, and Family Law. She was also the recipient of the "American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Eric D. Turner Award." She currently serves on the Paralegal Advisory Board at Central Pennsylvania College and is a member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, the Dauphin County Bar Association, and the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Sarah joined Killian & Gephart, LLP in June 2017. Prior to that she worked as a Paralegal for two years at a Hershey eminent domain firm, for three years as a Litigation Paralegal for a Camp Hill firm specializing in civil and criminal matters, and as a Litigation Specialist at a Harrisburg personal injury firm. She represented individuals as a Certified Legal Intern, representing clients at the Dauphin County Public Defender's Office (Spring 2019) and the Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinic (Spring 2020).
Sarah will sit for the September 2020 Bar Examination and anticipates representing clients after passing the bar. In the meantime, she will continue to support the attorneys at Killian & Gephart, LLP.
